Decision on Airport Charges 2016
Swedavia has decided to decrease airport charges 0.8 percent from April 1, 2016. Lowered charges have the purpose to support accessibility and long term traffic development to and from Swedavia’s airports.
The decrease is carried out through a series of adjustments of individual charge levels at Swedavia’s airports. At large, the decrease is realized at Göteborg Landvetter Airport, where the passenger increase of 18 percent in 2015 has contributed to lower average cost levels and increased efficiency.
The charges at Swedavia’s airports are already low in benchmarks with other airports, and are estimated to be on average 20 percentages lower than for competing and similar airports in Northern Europe after the decrease.
