In order to create safe travel as the world gradually opens up, an electronic service for the EU’s digital COVID certificate will be launched. The e-service, which is free of charge, enables you to obtain digital proof that you have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
Beginning July 1, your Covid certificate can be downloaded from the website www.covidbevis.se. To log in, you need an approved form of Swedish e-registration.
The EU’s recommendation is that having a Covid certificate should be sufficient for travel within the EU as well as to Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, but every country has the right to decide its own entry requirements. It is therefore important that passengers always make sure they are up to date on what the requirements are for the country they are travelling to.
In the first version of the e-service, you will only be able use a Covid certificate as proof that you have been vaccinated against Covid-19. Work is under way to also allow a negative Covid‑19 test result or proof of recovery from the infection to be included in the service.
