In October, Air Arabia Maroc will start operating a direct service between Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Agadir. Now Swedish passengers will have an additional low cost alternative to choose from among Stockholm Arlanda’s range of destinations. “We welcome Air Arabia Maroc, which is the fifth new low cost carrier at Stockholm Arlanda within a year. We believe that Agadir is a destination which will grow rapidly in popularity among Swedes when the new route allows even more passengers to fly non-stop,” says Elizabeth Axtelius, Aviation Business Director at Swedavia.

The new base in Agadir is a collaboration between Air Arabia Maroc and the Moroccan National Tourist Office to give more passengers the opportunity to fly non-stop to this popular holiday city.

“We are pleased to launch a new base in Agadir and we are confident that this step will further cater the needs of our passengers and illustrates our vision of continuous support to the Moroccan tourism sector. Since our inception, we are fully committed to support the tourism sector in Morocco and positively contribute to its development”, says Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia.

The new direct route will be serviced by an Airbus A320 with a capacity of 174 seats. Departures from Stockholm will be on Tuesdays and Fridays.
