Pre-book a space in Swedavia's affordably priced long-term car parks. There is free bus service to and from all the airport's terminals day or night. Read more about the bus service here. You can check in while you're still at the long-term car park to save time in the terminal. You'll find automated check-in machines in the waiting area.
Pick up & drop off
When you want to quickly pick up or drop off someone at the airport, follow the road signs showing the parking areas for arrival or departure. You can also park in the multi-storey car parks close to the terminals. Price: From SEK 80/hour or portion of hour.
At Stockholm Arlanda Airport, there are a number of parking places for those of you with reduced mobility.
How to park
- Take a ticket at the entrance gate.
- Choose any space or choose a space marked for parking for people with reduced mobility.
- Take the ticket and your parking permit for registration at the Arlanda Visitor Center in the departure hall in Terminal 5 or at one of the information desks in Terminals 2, 4 or 5.
- Before exiting, pay at the exit gate, at the Arlanda Visitor Center in the departure hall in Terminal 5 or at any self-service payment machine. You can only pay by credit/debit card, not in cash.
Please note that your permit does not need to be placed in the vehicle once it has been registered. The permit may be taken with you on your trip.
If you park outside of regular hours, you should press the button at the entrance and register the date you return home. After that, you can stamp your ticket when you return home at one of the information desks.

At Stockholm Arlanda, there are 130 parking spaces equipped with charging posts for electric cars and plug-in hybrids. All power is environmentally certified "green" electricity and is free. You park wherever there is a parking space specially marked with a sign for electric vehicles.
There are parking places at Arlanda for those of you with a motorcycle. Marked motorcycle parking is available under a roof outside SkyCity and outside Terminal 4 and Terminal 2.
Payment is made via sms. Instructions and price information are available at the parking places.
Car wash and service
Take the opportunity to service your car while you are away travelling. The SkyCity garage has a workshop offering services such as car washing, reconditioning and tyre changing.
There is also a car wash by the taxi rank, Terminal 4.

Key service for vehicles
Drop your car key off for safekeeping while you are on your trip. You can leave your car key at the customer service desk for parking in Terminal 5, floor 1.

At Stockholm Arlanda Airport you can get help jump-starting your car if your battery has died at no charge. Jump-start service is available around the clock 365 days a year. For insurance liability reasons, you must connect the cables to your car yourself.
Jump-start service is not available for electric or hybrid cars.

Usually about 12 months, but that may vary depending on how we set up our campaigns.
For most parking spaces, booking must be made at the latest one day prior to departure. The shortest time allowed is 4 hours before entry, provided that spaces are available.
In order for the system to reserve a space, a time must be entered for both entry and exit. You can drive in at any time on the day you booked after the time you entered, but if you drive in before the time you entered, there may be an additional charge.
No, you can also come here and select a parking space in an area where there is space available. However, special campaign prices are only available to people who have booked in advance on-line. With a booked space, you are guaranteed parking in the area you selected.

A booking confirmation has been sent to the given e-mail address.
Your booking can be cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before your booked entry time. No money is refunded for a late cancellation or for unused parking time. You can rebook up to 12 hours before your booked entry time.
You can pay with American Express, Mastercard, Diners and Visa.
You pay when you book your parking. If you have a payment card from Nordea, you must activate the 3D Secure feature.
With a ticket
Take a ticket at the gate before you enter. Drive in and park. Save the ticket – you pay when you return home at an automated payment machine or at the information desk in the airport, when it is staffed. You can also pay by credit or debit card at the exit gate.

Entry and exit
- Check to make sure you have come to the right parking area, that is, the area you booked.
- Drive up to the road gate and wait while the system reads and identifies your vehicle registration number. Your booking is identified, an entry ticket is automatically printed and the gate goes up.
- Do not press the button to get a ticket after the system has identified your registration number.

Parking at P1 Long-term and P57 Express outdoor
If you have booked at P1 Long-term or P57 Express outdoor you use the QR code on your confirmation to identify your order.
At the entrance
- Drive up to the entrance gate of the car park you booked
- Keep your confirmation e-mail with the QR code reday. Hold the QR code for your booking up to the QR reader at the entrance.
- Your booking is scanned and checked.
- A ticket is printed. You use this ticket at the exit.
At the exit
- Drive up to the exit gate.
- Hold the QR code for your booking up to the QR reader at the exit
- Your booking is scanned and checked.
- The gate goes up.
If you have booked a space, then you always have access to the parking area you booked, even if the area is full for other people who want to park.
Then you are charged the regular price for the area you parked in. So you should be very careful about checking that you are in the right parking area. Feel free to contact Customer Service using the intercom at the entrance to confirm that you have come to the parking area you booked. Then give the name of the parking area you booked a space in.
