SAS will start operating a new direct route six days a week from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Stuttgart. There has long been a demand for a direct connection between the two cities as the route has been unserved. The new direct route now offers both business and private travelers a faster and smoother connection between the two cities.

Stuttgart has a wide range of tourist attractions so there is this much to discover for Swedish first time visitors. Stuttgart and the surrounding towns in the region of Baden-Württemberg also offers a large cluster of companies in such areas as automotive, automation, clean tech and IT. The Stockholm and Stuttgart regions have blooming industries and are homes to world-known companies and brands, meaning there is a strong business base both from the Swedish and German markets.

- We are very pleased that SAS starts operating this direct route from Stockholm Arlanda. The Stuttgart and Stockholm connection has long been unserved and there has been a great demand for a direct route. Now both Swedes and Germans get a faster and easier route, for both business and leisure travel, said Elizabeth Axtelius, Director of Aviation Business at Swedavia.

SAS will operate the route six days a week except Saturdays from 26th March 2017.
