How we calculate your recommended entry time for parking
When you book parking through your flight, we provide a recommended time for when you should enter the parking area. This time is calculated based on your flight’s scheduled departure and several factors that affect your journey through the airport.
We take the following into account:
- When check-in opens
You will never receive a recommended entry time before check-in has opened. - If your destination requires passport control
Flights to countries with passport control affect how early you should arrive. - Time of day
Certain times mean more traffic and longer queues, which we factor in.
Please note:
- Flights departing within one hour are not shown in the tool. You can find these under Departures or in the Swedavia app.
- You can search for flights up to 30 days in advance.
