Espresso House has opened in Sky City

Are you in the mood for a cup of quality coffee? Espresso House has now opened in Sky City.

Espresso House, which already has an outlet in the Terminal 5 arrival hall, opened up this week in Sky City. Come drop in and try a piping hot latte before you head to check-in or have a seat in one of the sofas and enjoy the sandwiches, salads and pastries from the chain's own bakery.

Johanna, Ida and Eddie welcome you behind the counter. Outside the café, Maja stands with a box of sandwiches in her arms. "Free sandwiches to everyone who buys a cup of coffee today," Ida announces with a smile.

The Swedish chain Espresso House opened in Lund in 1996 and became the largest chain of coffee bars in the Nordic countries. One of the secrets behind its success is the emphasis on craftsmanship, quality and aromas. At Espresso House, gourmet coffee is made from specially selected plantations in Brazil, Ethiopia, Guatemala and Tanzania.

The outlets at Stockholm Arlanda also have a wide range of cold drinks, smoothies and lemonades on offer. Pastries are made by hand in the chain's own bakery in Malmö. The chocolate balls are rolled by hand, the focaccia is made from Italian flour, and the sourdough is the real deal. And if you are just looking for a bite to eat, you can choose a small pastry or mini salad.

Espresso House in Sky City is open 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekends.
