Airport Charges - New price list for 2016
An updated version of Swedavia’s Airport Charges is now available. The price list is in effect from 1 April 2016 and contains adjusted charges for ground handling, infrastructure and PRM (passengers with reduced mobility).
Swedavia’s decision on airport charges 2016 (see news article dated January 12, 2016) cannot be implemented in full by 1 April due to an appeal. The Swedish Transport Agency is administering the appeal and implementation of the charges decision is put on hold awaiting its decision. Swedavia’s charges for Ground Handling, Infrastructure and PRM are not affected by the decision and will therefore be implemented as planned.
The updated price list contains adjustments of charges at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, Bromma Stockholm Airport, Göteborg Landvetter Airport, and Malmö Airport. The new prices can be found in chapters 4 (PRM) and 5 (Ground Handling and Infrastructure) in Appendix 1.
Since 1 January 2016 Swedavia has levied a charge for slot allocation at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Bromma Stockholm Airport. The charge is levied on behalf of Airport Coordination Sweden to cover the airlines’ share of the costs for the slot coordination. More information on the charge is available in Chapter 7 in Appendix 1 or Chapter 5 in Appendix 2.
Swedavia is also implementing a support fund of five million SEK for renewable aviation fuel. Airlines using bio-fuel in 2016 are eligible to apply.
