New direct route between Gothenburg and Prague with Norwegian
Norwegian Air Shuttle's expansion continues. In late April, Norwegian will launch non-stop service to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, from Göteborg Landvetter Airport. Travellers from western Sweden will be able to fly twice a week with a short travel time to this Central European weekend gem.
Beginning April 27, people living in western Sweden will be able to fly non-stop to the beautiful city of Prague with Norwegian. This capital city is known for its beautiful architecture and rich array of cultural and historical treasures.
"It is gratifying that we can add yet another European capital to our range of destinations. Gothenburg and western Sweden are growing in popularity among international visitors, and we would like to invite more people to visit our city," says Charlotte Ljunggren, airport director at Göteborg Landvetter Airport.
The route Göteborg Landvetter Airport (GOT) – Prague Ruzyně International Airport (PRG) will be served twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays, beginning April 27, 2018.
"We are pleased that we can offer travellers in and around Gothenburg non-stop service to Prague and look forward to welcoming passengers on board our new, modern, fuel-efficient aircraft at attractive prices," says Thomas Ramdahl, chief commercial officer at Norwegian.
With the new route, Norwegian will now fly to 15 international destinations non-stop from Gothenburg. In addition to Prague, Norwegian offers direct air links from Gothenburg to Barcelona, Madrid, Alicante, Malaga, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Mallorca, Nice, Rome, Salzburg, London, Crete, Pristina and Split. Norwegian also offers four daily departures between Göteborg Landvetter Airport and Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
