Mats Johannesson to assume the role of President and CEO of Swedavia on March 23

Mats Johannesson, the newly appointed President and CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Swedavia, will assume the position on March 23, 2026.
“I look forward to assuming the role at Swedavia and joining the organisation. Swedavia has an important mission to strengthen Sweden’s connectivity and thereby the country’s competitiveness. We will continue to carry out that mission as a close partner to the airlines, with the passengers’ experience at the center,” says Mats Johannesson, Swedavia’s incoming President and CEO.
