Swedavia’s traffic statistics for November 2025: demand for air travel remains strong - largest increase domestically

During November, more than 2.5 million passengers flew via Swedavia's ten airports. This is an increase of seven per cent compared with November 2024. Domestic travel accounted for the largest increase, while the strong trend in international travel continues.
During November, more than 2.5 million passengers flew via Swedavia's airports. This represents an increase of seven per cent compared with November of last year. International travel increased by six per cent, while domestic travel increased by twelve per cent.
The increase in international passenger volumes was greatest at Swedavia's two largest airports, Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport.
During November, a total of just over 1.8 million passengers passed through Stockholm Arlanda Airport, Sweden's largest airport. This represents an increase of 13 per cent compared to November of last year. Around 1.4 million passengers flew internationally while just under 375,000 travelled domestically.
Via Göteborg Landvetter Airport, Sweden’s second largest airport, a total of just over 380,000 passengers flew during November. This is an increase of six per cent compared with November 2024. International travel increased by six per cent, to approximately 335,000 passengers. Domestic travel also increased by three per cent and amounted to almost 45,000 passengers.
Almost all of Swedavia's regional airports are showing double-digit growth compared to November 2024 and it is primarily domestic travel that is driving this development. Ronneby has the largest increase at 51 per cent with Kiruna at 28 per cent, followed by Luleå and Åre Östersund, both at 19 per cent. Bromma Stockholm Airport continues to have the weakest passenger development as a result of the airline BRA's closure of scheduled services.
