Swedavia appoints Susanne Norman as new Chief Operating Officer International Airports (COO) and Karin Öhrström as new Director of Regional Airports effective 1 April 2024. Peder Grunditz, currently serving as COO, has decided to leave Swedavia after 20 years of service in various leadership roles within the company.

Susanne Norman, currently Director of Regional Airports, will succeed Peder Grunditz as COO, who has chosen to leave Swedavia at the end of March 2024. At the same time, Karin Öhrström, currently Airport Director at Malmö Airport, will take over the role of Director of Regional Airports. Both will be members of Swedavia's executive management team. Karin Öhrström will therefore also become a new member of Swedavia's executive management team. The changes will take effect on 1 April 2024. The recruitment of a new airport director for Malmö Airport has begun.

"I am very pleased to welcome both Susanne Norman and Karin Öhrström to new and exciting positions. Susanne has many years of relevant experience with Swedavia, as well as with other companies. With her commitment and strong leadership, she will contribute to our continued development in her new role in International Airports. At the same time, I would like to welcome Karin to the executive management team and I am convinced that with her professionalism and leadership, she will contribute to both the work of the executive management team and the continued development of our regional airports", says Jonas Abrahamsson, Swedavia's president and CEO.

"Peder Grunditz has made a significant contribution to Swedavia's development over the years. He has been a member of the executive management team since the company was founded and, with his expertise and compassionate leadership, he has played a major role in making Swedavia the company it is today. I would like to thank Peder for his contributions to the company and wish him the best of luck in the future," says Jonas Abrahamsson.

Susanne Norman holds a degree in Systems Science from Mid Sweden University in Östersund.
