Croatia Airlines returns to Stockholm Arlanda – will launch new direct route to Split this summer
2022-04-05, kl. 11:24
Croatia Airlines meets the pent-up demand for travels and is returning to Stockholm Arlanda Airport after a pause in operations. It will provide direct service to the popular holiday destination of Split during the summer season.
For several years until 2019, Croatia Airlines flew non-stop between Stockholm Arlanda and Zagreb, the capital of Croatia and its largest city. Now the carrier is returning with a new scheduled route and will offer direct service during the summer season to the country’s second largest city, Split, situated on a peninsula on the Adriatic Coast.
Beginning June 10, Croatia Airlines will serve the route between Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) and Split Airport (SPU) twice weekly on Fridays and Sundays until the end of September. Tickets are now on sale.

Swedavia's work towards fossil-free aviation
Swedavia has carried out ambitious sustainability work for many years. All ten of its airports achieved the goal of zero fossil carbon dioxide emissions from their own operations by year-end 2020. Swedavia also works actively to promote the switch to sustainable aviation fuel and has the goal that five per cent of all fuel used for refuelling at Swedish airports shall be fossil-free by 2025. Swedavia’s climate transition work and pioneering work to operate climate-smart airports have won international awards, and in 2021 the trade organisation Airports Council International (ACI) named Stockholm Arlanda Airport Eco-Innovation Airport of the Year. Swedavia offers all travellers flying from one of its airports the option of buying biofuel for their entire journey or parts of it via flygreenfund.se/swedavia.
Swedavia complies with the authorities’ advice and recommendations on Covid-19. In addition, we comply with international aviation industry regulations. For information about the measures Swedavia has introduced for safe travel, see for example: swedavia.se/arlanda/before-your-journey.
