This offer is valid when you pre-book. Park during the period January 9–February 17 2017. The offer applies when you are away 3 days (Friday-Sunday) or 4 days (Thursday–Sunday or Friday–Monday). A limited number of spaces are available at this price and you must book no later than one day before your planned entry.

Pick up & drop off

You can park for a maximum of two hours at the Pick up and drop off parking. A fee is charged for parking every day, 00:00-24:00. Parking meters are located under the bus shelter.

Reduced mobility

There are four parking places for people with reduced mobility at the P2 Pick up & drop off parking. If the parking spaces for people with reduced mobility are occupied, use the P1 Long-term parking. You need a parking permit to park.

If you park often at Umeå Airport, you sign a parking contract at P3 Long-term parking. Choose between a space with or without engine heater.

How to pre-book
Enter the date and time of entry and exit as well as any campaign code. The system will show you which parking areas and services you can choose from. Click on “More info” to find out more about the parking area or service.

Continue to payment
Continue to payment and enter your personal data and payment details. Once you have booked, you will receive confirmation by e-mail.

Save your confirmation
Save your confirmation with the QR code as you use it to identify you booking when entering the parking area.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance of my planned entry can I book parking?

Usually about 12 months, but that may vary depending on how we set up our campaigns.


Can I book on short notice?

For most parking spaces, booking must be made at the latest one day prior to departure. The shortest time allowed is 4 hours before entry, provided that spaces are available.


Do I have to come at the exact time I entered for the parking space I booked?

In order for the system to reserve a space, a time must be entered for both entry and exit. You can drive in at any time on the day you booked after the time you entered, but if you drive in before the time you entered, there may be an additional charge.


What happens if I park too soon or leave too late?

The regular daily price for the area will be charged when you park too soon or leave too late. You will be charged when you exit the parking area.


Pre-book parking

Do I have to book my parking?

No, you can also come here and select a parking space in an area where there is space available. However, special campaign prices are only available to people who have booked in advance on-line. With a booked space, you are guaranteed parking in the area you selected.


When are the parking areas open?

Our parking areas and Customer Service are open every day, around the clock.


How do I know that my booking has been completed?

A booking confirmation has been sent to the given e-mail address.


Can I cancel or rebook my parking?

Your booking can be cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before your booked entry time. No money is refunded for a late cancellation or for unused parking time. You can rebook up to 12 hours before your booked entry time.

What credit cards can I use to pre-book?

You can pay with American Express, Mastercard, Diners and Visa.


How do I pay for my pre-booked parking?

You pay when you book your parking. If you have a payment card from Nordea, you must activate the 3D Secure feature.


How do I pay if I do not have pre-booked parking?

You can only pay with debit card or credit card.

At the entrance

Step 1
Parking slip: Take a slip at the barrier. Drive in and park. Keep the slip, you pay when returning at the self service machines or at the exit with a debit/credit card.

Debit/credit card: You register with your card at the barrier at the entrance. Your are then registered in the parking system.

Before exit

Step 2
Parking slip: Enter the slip in the self service machines. You pay with a debit/credit card.

Debit/credit card: If you have registered your card at the entrance you can ignore this step.

At the exit

Step 3
Parking slip: Enter the parking slip in the self service machine at the barrier. You can then exit.

Debit/credit card: Use the same card as registrated at the entrance. You enter your pin code, the parking is payed for and you can thereafter exit.

What do I do when I get to my parking area?

This is what you do when you have pre-booked a parking space.

At the entrance

  • Drive up to the entrance gate of the car park you booked
  • Keep your confirmation e-mail with the QR code reday. Hold the QR code for your booking up to the QR reader at the entrance.
  • Your booking is scanned and checked.
  • A ticket is printed. You use this ticket at the exit.

At the exit

  • Drive up to the exit gate.
  • Hold the QR code for your booking up to the QR reader at the exit
  • Your booking is scanned and checked.
  • The gate goes up.

What do I do if I have booked parking but the sign at the entrance indicates the area is full when I arrive?

If you have booked a space, then you always have access to the parking area you booked, even if the area is full for other people who want to park.


Parking for people with reduced mobility

Can I book a parking space for people with reduced mobility?

No, people who have a parking permit for reduced mobility always have an opportunity to park near the terminal.
