New EU Border Control System

Soon, the Entry Exit System will be introduced at Europe's borders, including in Sweden and at Swedavia airports that have passport control.
The Entry Exit System will be implemented simultaneously across all EU countries starting on October 12, 2025. The system will replace manual passport stamping and is being introduced to create safer borders to Europe. The Entry Exit System applies only to non-EU citizens.
