There are a variety of long-term parking options at Luleå Airport. Which do you prefer?

Long-term parking

Three minutes walk to terminal

Prices

SEK 130 per 24 hours for the first six days, then SEK 10 per 24 hours.

For engine heater during the winter park at P2. From November 1 until March 31 the price is SEK 180 per day and the engine heater is always included.

Payment

  • With credit/debit/petrol card at the entrance and exit. Receipt button is at the exit
  • Press for a parking slip at the entrance and pay with your credit/debit/petrol card at the exit
  • Press for a parking slip at the entrance and pay with credit/debit/petrol card at the service payment machines located in the terminal

Long-term parking uses a barrier system for entering and exiting. Please note that there are different entrances for parking with or without engine heaters.

You are not able to prebook a parking place. When one car park is full, you are directed to another car park.

Secure payment
The web site uses SSL encryption software which is the industry standard. It encrypts all personal information, including credit and debit card numbers as well as your name and address.


Change and cancel your parking

  • Make changes to your booking by clicking on the link Change and cancel your booking.
  • Log in with your booking number and your e-mail. Your booking number can be found in your confirmation.

Control your engine heater by app, online or SMS

Now you have the option of deciding for yourself when your engine heater should be turned on. You control the activation simply and conveniently by an app, online or SMS and come home to a nice, warm car.

How it works for app and online:

You begin by registering on the website of our partner, QT Systems.

After that, you receive a confirmation e-mail with log-in information. You then choose whether you want to control your engine heater by an app or online.

App

Do you have an Android phone? Then you download the app “QT Motorvärmare” via Google Play:

Enter the information you received in your registration e-mail. Remember that your user name is the mobile number you gave when you registered. You do not need to fill in the information more than once but will instead automatically stay logged in.

You log in using the information you received in your confirmation e-mail. Remember that your user name is the mobile number you gave when you registered. You have the option of changing your password here.

Now you’re ready! You can begin using the app or website. You select the engine heater your car is parked next to and then what time you want to activate it. When you return from your journey, your car will be nice and warm for your ride home.

How it works for SMS:

Pick up your car the same day you parked

Enter the time you want the heater to be activated by sending an SMS with the following text – for instance, if you are parked at electrical outlet 9999: SWEL 9999 1630 (don’t forget the space) to number 72550.

Pick up your car on a given date

Enter the date and time when you want the heater to be activated by sending an SMS with the following text – for instance, if you are parked at electrical outlet 9999: SWEL 9999 1630 0506 (don’t forget the space) to number 72550.

1630 = desired time (4.30 p.m.) • 0506 = desired date (June 5)

If you want to change the time

Send a new SMS with a new time/date to number 72550

If you have forgotten the number of your electrical outlet

Send an SMS with the following text: SWEL ? (don’t forget the space) to number 72550.

It is important that you send all SMSs from the same mobile phone number.

System for prebooked parking

At the entrance

•    Drive up to the entrance gate of the car park you booked.
•    Hold the QR code for your booking up to the QR reader at the entrance.
•    Your booking is scanned and checked.
•    The gate goes up.

At the exit

•    Drive up to the exit gate.
•    Hold the QR code for your booking up to the QR reader at the exit
•    Your booking is scanned and checked.
•    The gate goes up.

You do not need to press anything to get your parking slip because your slip is printed automatically once the system has identified your registration number

If you need to contact assistance, press the button with a telephone symbol on it. 24-hour staff service is available.

Parking places for people with reduced mobility

Parking places for people with reduced mobility are located closest to the terminal.

Parking places for people with reduced mobility are located in the parking area P1, located closest to the terminal building. There are six parking spaces, and five of them have engine heaters.

Remember: Place your parking permit so that it is clearly seen through the car's front windscreen.

Prices
Free of charge for up to two hours in the parking area P1. After that you pay 130 SEK per day during the first six days. After that you pay 10 SEK per day. If you want to use an engine heater you pay 180 SEK per day during the entire period you park. Engine heaters are available for the period 1 November to 31 March.

Payment
Go to the Information counter inside the airport to pay your parking if you must stand for more than two hours. Then they also ensure that the parking attendants are informed that you paid the parking and how long you will be parking there.
