Edelweiss will launch new direct route to Zürich ahead of winter 2025

The Swiss airline Edelweiss has announced that they will establish at Luleå Airport with a new, direct route to Zürich starting 19th December. Edelweiss, a member of the Lufthansa Group, will operate the new route once a week, further connecting the northern parts of Sweden with Switzerland ahead of winter 2025.

The announcement from Edelweiss will be most welcome news for those who wish to experience the northern lights in Swedish Lapland as well as for those who wish to experience skiing in the Alps. The new, direct route will serve as an important connection between the northern parts of Sweden and the European continent, thus benefiting those who travel for business, leisure or to visit family and friends.
