Norwegian's expansion at Stockholm Arlanda Airport continues with new routes and more departures to popular destinations during the summer months. Beginning in early June, travellers will be able to fly to Lisbon, Dublin and Zagreb. In addition, the number of departures will increase to many popular destinations, including Croatia, Cyprus, Spain, Greece and Italy.

Norwegian has already announced new direct service to both Milan and Montpellier from Stockholm Arlanda. These routes will start operating in April and June, respectively. Together with the new routes and an expanded number of departures, travellers from Stockholm Arlanda will have almost 500 non-stop flights a week with Norwegian to choose from during the summer months.

“In general, interest in countries on the Mediterranean has increased sharply among Swedish travellers, which we also see from Norwegian’s new routes and the increased traffic to existing summer destinations. The Croatian city of Zagreb is also a brand-new non-stop destination from Stockholm Arlanda and is likewise one with the greatest demand.  We welcome Norwegian’s continued investment in Stockholm Arlanda,” says Elizabeth Axtelius, director of aviation business at Swedavia.

About the new routes:
Beginning June 8 will serve the Stockholm–Lisbon route twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.
Beginning June 9 will serve the Stockholm–Dublin route twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.
Beginning June 10 will serve the Stockholm–Zagreb route once a week, on Saturdays, and then twice a week as of Midsummer, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Increased departures on existing routes:
The number of departures from Stockholm Arlanda Airport will increase to Milan, Marrakesh, Tenerife, Copenhagen, Alicante, Larnaca, Olbia (Sardinia), Chania (Crete), Berlin, Rhodes, Catania (Sicily) and Palma (Mallorca). Norwegian previously announced more departures between Stockholm and Faro and Amsterdam.
