New law prohibiting smoking as of July 1, 2019

Beginning July 1, a new Swedish law banning smoking in some outdoor public areas will go into effect. The law covers areas at and outside the airport.
As a result of the law, smoking will be prohibited outside the terminals: at airport entrances, on pavements and in places where people alight from and board buses, trains, taxis and other modes of transport. People will only be permitted to smoke in designated spaces, for example, in smoking cabins and on pavement where it is marked that smoking is allowed.
