Sarajevo in Bosnia and Hercegovina

The carrier Norwegian Air Shuttle is launching a new route from Göteborg Landvetter to Sarajevo in eastern Europe, which will be served once a week during the summer season, beginning June 21. Norwegian already flies between Stockholm and Sarajevo during the summer season.

“It is gratifying that Norwegian continues to invest in Göteborg Landvetter and destinations in eastern Europe. Sarajevo is a popular destination for weekend trips, among other things, but we are also seeing demand from Swedes with roots in Bosnia Herzegovina who want to visit friends and family,” says Anna Strömwall, airport director at Göteborg Landvetter Airport.

Sarajevo is the capital and largest city in Bosnia Herzegovina. It offers a wide range of cultural activities, history and architecture.

About the new route

The Gothenburg (GOT)–Sarajevo (SJJ) route will operate once a week during the summer season, on Fridays, beginning June 21, 2019.
