Non-stop service from Visby to Crete and Croatia continues

2013-10-11, kl. 08:16

After their great success this past summer, Apollo will continue to offer non-stop flights from  Visby Airport to Crete and Croatia. There is heavy demand for flights from Visby, so next summer about 1,000 seats will be added on flights to these popular summer destinations.

This past summer’s non-stop service to Croatia was a great success, so Apollo will offer flights to this attractive destination on the Adriatic Sea next summer as well. Residents of Gotland will be able to fly non-stop to Split, Croatia, on Saturdays from August 23 to September 20.

“There was record interest among Gotland’s residents in holidaying in Croatia this past summer. So it is wonderful to be able to offer flights to this popular destination next summer as well. Croatia offers not just sun and swimming in crystal-clear water but also a number of attractions that many people find appealing,” says Kajsa Moström, information manager at Apollo.

Along with Croatia, people from Gotland can fly non-stop to Crete in the summer of 2014. With non-stop service to Chania, passengers can reach popular towns in western Crete. There will be one departure a week from September 27 to October 11.

“We are delighted that Apollo will continue flying to Crete and Croatia from Visby Airport. There is heavy demand for non-stop flights, and we are especially pleased that Croatia is included in the programme for next year,” says Gunnar Jonasson, airport director at Visby Airport.
