Non-stop service with Apollo to Crete and Rhodes again next summer

2013-10-10, kl. 13:21

In the summer of 2014, Apollo will continue to offer non-stop flights from Umeå to Crete and Rhodes. There is high demand for flights, so about 2,300 seats have been added on flights to these popular Greek islands next summer.

Crete is one of Apollo’s most important destinations, with many returning customers. With non-stop service to Chania, passengers can reach popular towns in western Crete. Next summer, one departure a week will be offered from May 10 to June 21. There will be seven Saturday departures to Rhodes from August 23 to October 4.

“Many people appreciate the luxury of being able to fly non-stop from their home town and avoid the extra time and cost involved in their vacation. So it feels really good to be able to provide Umeå residents non-stop service next summer to two favourite holiday destinations that have so much to offer,” says Kajsa Moström, information manager at Apollo.

“This is very good news for Umeå Airport. Crete and Rhodes are two very popular destinations, and now more people in the region can fly non-stop from their home town, which is greatly appreciated,” says Bengt-Ove Lindgren, airport director at Umeå Airport.
