Today at 1:00p, SAS’s new Café Lounge at Malmö Airport was inaugurated with live music and refreshments. The new concept supplements SAS’s existing lounges and is aimed at people who fly frequently and also enjoy a smooth trip.

The atmosphere in the Café Lounge is designed so that passengers can work in peace and quiet or relax. There is free Wi-Fi available as well as light refreshments. The SAS Café Lounge at Malmö Airport, with about 70 square metres of space, is located close to the exits for SAS’s domestic flights.

“Now we are finally opening SAS’s Café Lounge at Malmö Airport – something that our frequent flyers have long been asking for. This is a relatively new product, and it feels great to be able to help make life a little easier for people who fly frequently. They can relax in SAS’s Café Lounge and get something to eat and drink or just take it easy,” says Stephanie Smitt Lindberg, head of product development at SAS.

“We are pleased and proud that SAS chose to open its first Swedish Café Lounge right here at Malmö Airport, and we look forward to welcoming all passengers with a nice, relaxing environment,” says Peter Weinhandl, airport director at Malmö Airport.

The Café Lounge will have opening hours that coincide with SAS’s traffic programme and is open to passengers in SAS Plus as well as Gold and Diamond members in SAS’s EuroBonus programme.
