Ryanair celebrates 400,000 passengers

2014-07-11, kl. 12:00

On July 9, Ryanair celebrated a milestone, with 400,000 passengers having flown via Malmö Airport since Ryanair resumed service there in 2011. The 400,000th passenger was Behzad Nateghi from Karlskrona, who was on his way to Malaga with his partner Caroline Gillberg and their son, Arian. Ryanair was on hand in Malmö to congratulate the family, who were presented with a Ryanair travel voucher.

Ryanair has had several successful years in Malmö since it relaunched operations there in 2011 and has now reached the milestone of 400,000 passengers. During the 2014 summer season, Ryanair operates two low-fare routes – London Stansted on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and Malaga on Wednesdays and Sundays.

This summer, all Ryanair passengers can enjoy a number of improvements in service, such as the possibility of taking a little more hand baggage at no cost, getting assigned seats and taking advantage of Family Extra discounts.
