In close proximity to Serbia’s third largest city, Niš, are several mountain ranges that are popular both during the summer and winter. The best skiing is on Mount Kopaonik, at an altitude of 2,000 metres. People often mix downhill skiing with food and spa treatments in the hotels that are also located high up in the mountains. During the summer, hiking and exploring the Serbian countryside are popular.
If you enjoy eating and drinking, Niš is well worth a visit. Beyond the city are a number of areas known for their wine production, where you can find out about the history of wine and taste Serbian varieties.
The route to Niš will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from Malmö Airport. With this new destination, Wizz Air offers fourteen non-stop routes from Malmö. This is Wizz Air’s second Serbian destination.
