Swedavia's self-service check-in machines are now ready for use at Luleå Airport. The first airline to use them is Norwegian. The machines, which have been installed in conjunction with refurbishment work at the airport, are part of the group's efforts to improve the airport experience for passengers.

Self Service Check-in"Self-service check-in helps to make flows smoother and more efficient, which is one aspect of the work to generate and meet our passengers' demand for simplicity," says Ann-Christin Viklund, airport director at Luleå Airport.

Self-service check-in machines are already available at Stockholm Arlanda, Göteborg Landvetter, Malmö, Umeå and Visby. This autumn, the machines will also be introduced at Bromma Stockholm Airport.

Alongside the roll-out of Swedavia's automated check-in machines, Swedavia's self- service bag drop will be set up at a number of airports.
