Do I have to book my parking in advance?
No, you can arrive and chose and available space to park in. However campaign prices are only available when booking in advance. With a reserved parking space, you are also guaranteed a space in your chosen car park.
How much does it cost to park?
You pay for your parking based on the number of hours or 24-hour periods you park. There are also offers with attractive prices. Read more about parking offers here.
What is the price for a 24-hour period at P5, P6 and P7 car parks if I stay longer than a week?
The price for each subsequent 24-hour period after a week is SEK 50 per 24-hour period. A week of parking is equal to eight 24-hour periods.
Do you have special parking facilities for people with reduced mobility?
People with reduced mobility can park at the low-cost rate (SEK 20 per hour, SEK 160 per 24-hour period, SEK 525 for one week, additional days at SEK 25 per day) at all of our parking facilities. To get the reduced price, you need to show your parking permit together with your parking slip at the information desk in the check-in hall before you pay.
How far is it from the car parks to the check-in hall?
The closest facilities to the check-in hall are the multi-storey car parks P3 and P4 and outdoor car park P2 - approximately one minute from the check-in hall. The walk from car parks P5, P6 and P7 takes between five and ten minutes with a baggage cart.
Where should I park if I will be away over a weekend?

Is there any risk that the car parks will be full in peak season?
Yes, at the height of summer the pressure on our low-cost facilities is high. We therefore recommend all customers to book in advance to be sure to have a space reserved. If you are unable to book we recommend you to arrive well in advance and note the number of spaces available indicated on the information sign at the entrance to Göteborg Landvetter Airport.
What is the longest amount of time I can park?
You can park for a maximum of 92 days at car parks P5, P6 and P7 without notifying us in advance. Contact parking facilities if you need to park for longer.
How do I pay for my parking?
In all parking areas within barriers you can only pay with a credit/debit card. In the short-term parking areas you can pay with a card or in coins.
Paying with a credit/debit card
If you would like to pay with a credit card, you can register your card at the entrance barrier and then use the same card at the exit barrier. You do not have to keep track of any parking slip – your parking is instead stored on your card. Alternatively, you can press “biljett” (‘ticket’) at the entrance gate and then pay with your card at the exit barrier or at the self-service parking machines in the check-in hall when you return from your journey.
What cards are accepted?
Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, American Express, Diners Club, Volvo, Statoil, Preem, Shell, Hydro, OK/Q8 and St1. Please note that you need a pin code when you pay with a credit/debit card that has a security chip (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners Club). A pin code is not needed for cards without security chips (Volvo, Statoil, Preem, Shell, Hydro, OK/Q8 and S1).
What happens if I lose my parking ticket?
If you lose your parking slip, contact our parking service office by pressing the phone symbol on the self-service payment machines in the check in hall or at the exit barriers. The parking service will then help you with paying on site.
How do I book my parking?
State the date you would like to park, and you are then given parking alternatives that are available. Choose the one that best suits you, and enter your personal details, make payment, and then it is ready. Don’t forget to print out your confirmation.
What is a campaign code/promo code?
Car parks sometimes run campaigns, which mean that specific campaign codes are communicated to you. If you have received a campaign code, you should state it. If you do not have one, then leave that box empty.
How safe are your car parks?
All our car parks have camera surveillance and are patrolled 24 hours a day by both parking services and airport security.
Can I pay for more than one parking space for the same period using the same credit/debit card?
Yes, it is possible to pay for several parking places with the same credit/debit card.
Can I pay for parking with an e-card?
Yes, you can pay with an electronic card.
Why do I have to pay with a credit/debit when booking?
The condition for booking a parking place is that it is paid for at the time of booking. Payment occurs on the web site with a valid credit/debit card: American Express, Diners, Mastercard and Visa.
I have a petrol card that is connected to Visa/Mastercard. Can I use it to pay for a parking booking?
What happens if I lose my credit/debit card when I come back?
Press the telephone button at the exit barrier of the car park and you will be helped.
What should I do when I arrive at the car park?
Check that you are at the car park which you have booked. Drive up to the barrier and wait while the system reads and identifies your vehicle's registration number. Once the booking is identified, an entry ticket is automatically produced and the barrier lifts up. Do not press for the ticket since your ticket is produced automatically once the system has identified your registration number. Should something to the contrary happen, press the button with the telephone symbol on it and wait for assistance.
What shall I do when I come back from my trip?
In order to exit, drive up to any of the exit barriers. The booking is identified, parking time checked and the barrier lifts up. If identification does not occur, or that the parking has been for a longer time than booked – put the ticket you received when entering in the machine. The system calculates any additional costs and payment occurs at the exit with a credit/debit card.
What do I do if I have booked a parking place but it shows red at the entrance when I approach?
If you have booked a place, you always have access to the car park. The system has reserved a place for you but the area is shown to be full for other motorists.
What happens if I park in the wrong car park?
You are charged the regular price for the area in which you have parked. Be therefore very careful to check that you are in the correct car park. This information is detailed in the booking confirmation.
What happens if I lose my parking slip?
If you lose your parking slip, contact parking services by pressing the telephone button on the self-service parking machines in the check-in hall or at the exit barrier of the car park.
Do I have to arrive at exactly the same time stated in the booked parking?
No, entry does not have to take place at exactly the stated time, but the booking starts to apply from the chosen time onwards.
What happens if I arrive too early or stay longer than what I have stated on the booking?
Overtime is charged according to regular rate for the car park in question.
If I have booked one week’s parking, but come home before the stated exit time, for example, one day early, is the cost of parking refunded for that day I did not make use of?
No, unutilised parking time is not refunded.
Can I change and/or cancel an already paid for parking place?
Yes, in almost all cases changes and cancellations are possible against a fee of SEK 25. Different regulations for changes and cancellations may occur for specific products. Valid regulations can be found on the product sheet received at the time of booking as well as in your booking confirmation sent by e-mail.
Can I book a parking space for people with reduced mobility?
No, unfortunately not. Parking spaces for people with reduced mobility close by the terminal are limited in numbers and must be available for those arriving here.
If I, with reduced mobility, can park at a regular parking space and would like to book one, how do I receive my discount?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to receive the reduced price connected to your parking permit when you book and pay via the internet.
