Göteborg Landvetter Airport is western Sweden’s international airport with close to 100 direct routes out to the world. The airport constitutes an important part of western Sweden’s infrastructure when it comes to air transport needs for both passengers and cargo. Göteborg Landvetter Airport is Swedavia’s second largest airport, and in total employs some 3,500 people in a hundred companies at the airport.

    SAS continues to expand at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and is launching five new routes to European destinations for the Summer of 2017. Two of the destinations, Munich and Krakow, will have year-round service. SAS will also start summer traffic to the Portuguese capital, Lisbon; Shannon, on the west coast of Ireland; and Pristina, the capital of Kosovo.

    Göteborg Landvetter Airport is now the first airport in the world to offer passengers the opportunity to purchase “print-on-demand” reading material for their trip. At the automated newsstand kiosk, Meganews Magazines, customers choose which periodical to print and pay using their credit card. This is also a climate-smart solution since no unwanted magazines need to be printed or transported.
