Wizz Air to remain at Göteborg Landvetter

2015-02-04, kl. 09:02

Wizz Air will continue to serve Göteborg Landvetter Airport with its six routes to five countries. The move from Göteborg City Airport will thus be permanent, the airline has announced.

“Naturally, we welcome Wizz Air’s continued operations with us, and are pleased that western Sweden’s access to the airline’s destinations in eastern Europe is ensured,” says Charlotte Ljunggren, airport director at Göteborg Landvetter Airport.

Wizz Air flies twice a week from Göteborg Landvetter Airport to Belgrade, Gdansk, Skopje, Tuzla and Warsaw, and three times a week to Budapest.

In all, Wizz Air has 29 routes to eight countries from three airports in Sweden – along with Malmö Airport, the carrier flies from Göteborg Landvetter and Stockholm Skavsta Airport.
