Roadwork en route to the airport

2014-05-08, kl. 04:10

The Bårhult interchange on highway 40 opened to traffic in December last year. During Weeks 20 and 21 (May 12-25), it will be time to put down the last layer of asphalt. Because traffic en route to the airport may be affected, it could be a good idea to leave well in advance and research the traffic situation before you leave for the airport.

The asphalting will take 4-5 days, depending on the weather, and will be carried out during Weeks 20 and 21 (May 12-25).

The work will be under way between 7.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. That will affect access for vehicles during this period, mainly on the ramps onto and off the highway, which will each be closed for about four hours. Traffic will then be rerouted with signs, and flaggers will be on site. The Swedish Transport Administration will try to minimise any disruptions.
