The trade association Airports Council International (ACI) is the organisation behind the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) customer survey, which measures passengers' views of quality from check-in to departure at 285 airports around the world.
Passengers completing the ASQ survey respond to 34 different questions about the airport's atmosphere, customer service, cleanliness and waiting times. In the most recent survey (fourth quarter, 2013), 80 per cent of passengers said that they were very satisfied with the overall quality at Göteborg Landvetter.
ASQ Awards are handed out in four different categories: Best Airport by Region (Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America & Caribbean, Middle East and North America), Best Airport by Size, Best Small Airport and Best Improvement by Region. Göteborg Landvetter has won the award in this last category.
