Pocket Shop’s new outlet will be located near the check-in counters and café, a good location for people who want to buy a book before their departure or do a bit of reading and have a cup of coffee while waiting for an arriving flight. The shop is 36 square metres in size and will have a broad assortment to suit the space.
“It is really great that Pocket Shop is growing at Göteborg Landvetter. It is a well-known brand among passengers with products that are well suited for an airport,” says Charlotte Ljunggren, airport director at Göteborg Landvetter Airport.
Pocket Shop’s first outlet at Göteborg Landvetter opened in conjunction with the inauguration of the expanded departure hall in February 2013.
“We are always on the hunt for top locations and are very pleased about the opportunity to open another shop at Göteborg Landvetter,” says Pocket Shop’s CEO, Anna Borné Minberger.
The check-in hall at Göteborg Landvetter will be developed in the near future to meet the growing number of passengers and their demand for service, food and shopping outlets. Recently, an agreement was reached to set up a Max hamburger restaurant at the airport. The airport’s information desk will soon be refurbished to make it more visible to visitors and have a new central location in the hall. More shops and restaurants will also be added in the check-in hall.
Pocket Shop today has a total of 25 shops, many of these in locations connected with travel. They include four shops at Stockholm Arlanda Airport as well as outlets at the airports in Berlin and Frankfurt.
