“We are very proud to be able to launch our route today between these two beautiful cities. TAP wants to make sure that all our passengers know that they have arrived in Portugal as soon as they disembark the aircraft,” says João Morais, the airline’s country manager in Scandinavia, at the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony held at Gate 15 at Göteborg Landvetter before TAP’s fully loaded Airbus 320 flew off to the Portuguese capital.
Beginning July 2, the airline will fly non-stop to Lisbon on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing at 3.20 p.m. from Göteborg Landvetter. The route will be served by the aircraft types Airbus 319, with seating for 132, and Airbus 320, with seating for 156.
TAP is Portugal’s largest carrier and is based in Lisbon. It flies to 76 destinations in 34 countries.
