Norwegian already flies between Stockholm and Madrid, but now people living in western Sweden will also have non-stop service to the Spanish capital with Norwegian. With the airline's direct route between the Spanish mainland and the Canary Islands, there are also more combinations possible for passengers who would like to explore more of the country.
"It is gratifying that we can now offer people who live in Gothenburg the possibility of flying non-stop to Madrid in modern, comfortable aircraft with free Wi-Fi and live TV on board. With our domestic routes to the Canary Islands, it is also possible to combine a visit to Madrid with a few days in Gran Canaria or Teneriffa," says Thomas Ramdahl, commercial director at Norwegian.
The new Göteborg Landvetter–Madrid service will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. Tickets are now on sale. Prices start at SEK 399 for one way.
Beginning June 20, Iberia Express will also start flying non-stop from Göteborg Landvetter to Madrid.
