“We are really pleased that we can offer yet another route to a Baltic capital. This provides better opportunities for people in western Sweden as well as our Lithuanian neighbours to make connections – both in terms of business relations and tourism,” says Charlotte Ljunggren, airport director at Göteborg Landvetter Airport.
Lithuania’s ambassador to Sweden, Eitvydas Bajarūnas, also welcomes the new route. “This helps to strengthen business and personal relations as well as increase tourism flows. We can finally get to know one another better,” he notes.
Service between Göteborg Landvetter Airport and Vilnius will begin on June 1, with departures Sunday and Wednesday evening. Flying time is about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
