New record for Bromma Stockholm Airport, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary

2016-12-29, kl. 11:05

We would like to congratulate Bromma Stockholm Airport, which is celebrating its 80th  anniversary, on the new passenger record it set today, when its 2,500,000th passenger disembarked from flight TF 409.

With this flight from Visby, Bromma Stockholm recorded its 2,500,000th passenger flying to or from the airport so far in 2016. Bromma Stockholm Airport, inaugurated by King Gustaf V in September 1936, is celebrating its 80th anniversary. The airport, which lost passengers in the 1990s, has now grown for the sixth straight year; in 2011, Bromma Stockholm had just over 2.1 million passengers. When the carrier BRA’s aircraft from Visby landed with the record passenger, all forty passengers received a small gift from airport director Peder Grunditz and his staff.
