Self-service is part of Swedavia’s efforts to provide smooth, efficient automated solutions at its airports. It is also a way to offer new services to both passengers and airlines.
Self-service solutions are now being implemented at Bromma Stockholm Airport, which will contribute to increased customer satisfaction through more efficient flows.
“We see self-service as part of our work to continually develop and improve our flows at the airport so that passengers experience them as fast and smooth. It is important for us that people travel quickly and easily from Bromma Stockholm no matter where they choose to fly,” says Olle Sundin, airport director at Bromma Stockholm Airport.
“With our development of Bromma Stockholm into a modern city airport, self-service is a component that has a natural role in the overall picture,” Mr Sundin notes.
For passengers, self-service means they can manage the entire check-in process themselves. Using the automated check-in kiosks, passengers check in and then print out their baggage tag before leaving their bag at the bag drop.
