2013-10-10, kl. 15:43

The number of passengers at Bromma Stockholm Airport was about 223,000 in September. That corresponds to an increase of three per cent compared to the same month in 2012. The number of domestic passengers was up five per cent while the number of international passengers fell 14 per cent to about 24,000.

“During September, we saw newly launched service between Bromma Stockholm and Östersund as well as an expanded offering to Malmö, Gothenburg and Umeå, which contributed to the largest increase in passenger volume at the airport in September. The international destination with the greatest increase for the month was Tallinn,” says Olle Sundin, airport director at Bromma Stockholm Airport.

In September, the number of landings in scheduled operations at Bromma Stockholm Airport was about 2,200, which is six per cent lower than during the same month in 2012.

So far in 2013 (January-September), more than 25 million passengers have flown to or from Swedavia’s airports, an increase of three per cent compared to the same period in 2012. As a result, 2013 is projected to be a record year in terms of passenger numbers.
