Last month, both domestic and international air travel via Bromma Stockholm continued to grow. International travel was up 29 per cent to about 28,500 passengers, while domestic travel was up four per cent to more than 203,000 passengers compared to the same month in 2014.
“We see continued interest, both in domestic and international terms, for efficient travel to and from Stockholm. This increase indicates that the easy, convenient city airport we are developing is appreciated by our passengers,” says Peder Grunditz, airport director at Bromma Stockholm Airport.
“During the summer, more improvement work will be carried out at the airport, including in the airport’s terminal. The number of lavatories at the gate will double, and more new and updated self-service check-in machines were installed during the spring. We are doing this to further simplify and improve the travel experience for our passengers,” Mr Grunditz adds.'
The number of landings in scheduled operations increased nine per cent to almost 2,200 in May compared to the same month last year.
So far in 2015, the number of passengers travelling via Bromma Stockholm Airport is up four per cent to more than 1,026,000 compared to the same period last year.
The number of passengers who flew via one of Swedavia’s ten airports has also increased overall by four per cent to almost 14.5 million.
