Bromma Stockholm Airport headed for a record year

2014-12-09, kl. 09:29

More than 229,600 passengers flew to or from Bromma Stockholm Airport in November 2014. That is a one per cent decrease compared to the same month last year. Still, in December Bromma Stockholm is poised to set an annual record for total passenger volume at the airport.

Domestic traffic was on the same level as last year, with some 210,000 passengers, whereas international traffic was down eleven per cent to about 19,700 passengers.

“This has been an excellent year in terms of the number of passengers who have chosen to fly to or from Bromma Stockholm. In November, traffic was down slightly, by about 2,500 passengers, which is mainly due to an extra holiday day this year,” says Peder Grunditz, airport director at Bromma Stockholm Airport.

“Most indications are that in mid-December we will beat our previous record of 2.3 million passengers flying to or from Sweden’s city airport,” Mr Grunditz adds.

The number of landings in scheduled operations increased four per cent to about 2,200 in November compared to the same month last year.
