Domestic travel was up five per cent to more than 208,000 passengers, while international travel increased three per cent to more than 24,000 passengers for the same month compared to September last year.
“We note that the trend this past spring and summer, with increased demand for efficient, convenient travel in Sweden, continued in September at Bromma Stockholm. Now we have also set a record for the month of the September, in terms of the number of passengers who chose to fly to or from the city airport for all of Sweden,” says Peder Grunditz, airport director at Bromma Stockholm Airport.
“We see that more people have chosen Bromma Stockholm for both domestic and international air travel, and we recently launched a new route between Tallinn and Bromma Stockholm Airport, which significantly improves access between the two capitals. In October, the timetable for two commuter routes, Bromma Stockholm-Åre Östersund and Bromma Stockholm-Umeå, has also been expanded,” Mr Grunditz adds.
The number of landings in scheduled operations increased six per cent to about 2,300 in September compared to the same month last year.
