Air traffic up in July at Bromma

2013-08-13, kl. 10:48

The number of passengers at Bromma Stockholm Airport increased four per cent in July compared to the same month in 2012.

Some 116,000 passengers flew to or from Bromma Stockholm Airport in July, a rise of four per cent compared to the same month last year. The number of domestic passengers increased six per cent to about 101,300 while the number of international passengers fell four per cent to about 14,300.

“We see that the demand for air travel generally increased in July. Even during the summer holidays, smooth, efficient travel is also important to our passengers, and for Bromma demand for air travel in Sweden was up as well. We are pleased that we can help ensure access, to and from Sweden’s capital as well as around the country,” says Olle Sundin, airport director at Bromma Stockholm Airport.

In July, the number of landings in scheduled and charter operations at the airport was about 1,100, which is a five per cent decrease from the same month in 2012.

So far in 2013 (January-July), almost 19 million passengers have flow to or from one of Swedavia’s airports, an increase of two per cent compared to the same period in 2012.
