The restaurateur and businessman Pontus Frithiof’s restaurant Pontus in the Air focuses on high quality, reasonable prices and fast service – all in a setting inspired by the golden age of flying in the 1960s. The restaurant also offers a service – Take Off – that makes it convenient for you to take food on board.
You’ll find the restaurant in Terminal 5, Level 2.
Pontus’s food concept with three parts
Pontus in the Air involves a food concept with three parts – Brasserie, Market and Take Off – with all food prepared on site from scratch:
Brasserie has a lovely, pleasant atmosphere with a bistro feel and service for up to 100 seated guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Service is quick – no guest should wait more than 12 minutes for their food. The menu offers a wide assortment of classic breakfast dishes, and during the rest of the day you can choose from a variety of tasty starters, main courses and desserts.
Market Breakfast Buffet –a large breakfast buffet is available from 5.00 to 10.00 a.m.
Market Lunch – starting at 10.30 a.m., a genuine Swedish smörgårdsbord or buffet is available. You serve yourself and pay at the till. Or choose the speciality of the day, which changes daily.
In the bar, you can have a glass of wine, champagne or beer or a non-alcoholic beverage.
Take Off is a take-away service, where you can choose from chilled, tasty and nutritious meals including a beverage that you can take on board. It is easy to order and pay for items using an app, “Pontus in the Air”, and you can pick them up before your departure at the restaurant.
