Terminal 5 is the larger of Stockholm Arlanda’s two international terminals and is also the one with the most shops, cafés, restaurants and bars. What would you like to do in Terminal 5?

Junibacken play area 

Are you travelling with children? Check out the delightful Junibacken play area by Gates 1-10. Starbucks is located next door and Max is right nearby.

Did you know that?

  • The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was filmed here? Planning and coordination for shooting the film with director David Fincher took several months. On the day of the shooting, 150 people on the film crew and 24 lorries loaded with equipment were on hand.
  • In the departure hall you’ll find the world’s largest bead mosaic, created by Väringa School in Sigtuna, which also made it into the Guinness Book of World Records for the work, which consists of  1,680,200 beads.
  • The terminal is being expanded to create a bigger security checkpoint, a new baggage handling system and more space for shops, restaurants and experiences. 
  • A new pier will be built in order to handle more passengers and larger aircraft.
