Stockholm Arlanda Airport, which in the past year has carried out extensive refurbishments and opened new shops such as Victoria’s Secret, is now further strengthening its luxury retail offering by opening more new stores in Terminal 5. The latest addition will be a large shopping area with brands such as Samsung and Lexington as well as shop-in-shops for wellness products, a wine shop and a hand-selected assortment of exclusive perfumes.
From mid-December, passengers will be able to shop home accessories and apparel from the New England-inspired lifestyle brand Lexington, on a 100 sqm of space. Samsung will offer smartphones, tablets, cameras, computers and mobile phone accessories. In the perfume section, there will be a quality assortment of rare niche scents from exclusive brands such as Xerjoff, l’Artisan Parfumeur, Penhaligon’s, Rallet, Tiziana Terenzi, Bond N°9 and The Different Company.
- “Over the past few years, we have lifted Stockholm Arlanda as a shopping destination to meet the changing passengers demands. The airport has become an important part of the whole travel experience, with luxury and inspiring shopping being a key component for many passengers. The Victoria’s Secret concept is a great success, and now we are investing further and adding other well-known brands such as Lexington, Samsung and a special shop for exclusive perfumes,” says Roel Huinink, managing director of Arlanda Schiphol Development Company (ASDC), responsible for retail, food and beverages and commercial services at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
The new shopping area is app. 650 sqm and is located in Terminal 5 in the gate area 1-10. The new store concept for premium perfumes is part of a focus of Stockholm Arlanda and Nuance to highlight the broad range of perfume and cosmetics and is aimed at engaging, entertaining and inspiring passengers.
