Turkish Airlines increasing its departures between Stockholm and Istanbul

2012-02-24, kl. 14:29

Beginning March 26, traffic on the Stockholm–Istanbul route will increase with a night-time departure at 12.35 a.m. That means Turkish Airlines will offer three departures every day of the week.

With the added night-time departure, travellers will now have access to more connections in Turkey, and new routes are opening up in the Balkans to destinations such as Athens and  Thessaloniki, Greece.

According to the scheduled timetable, the airline’s two other flights from Stockholm Arlanda Airport depart at 12:15 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. each day.

The increased number of departures means that Turkish Airlines will expand its seating capacity by 2,800 in April 2012 compared to the preceding month.

Turkish Airlines operates the Stockholm–Istanbul route with a Boeing 737-800, Airbus 320 or Airbus 321.
