Beginning March 29, Sun Express will begin flying between Stockholm Arlanda Airport and the popular tourist destination of Antalya in southern Turkey, with one departure a week, on Sundays. The route will be served by a Boeing 737-800.
“For several years, we have seen a constant increase in passengers flying from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Turkey. Demand still looks strong, and we are pleased that Sun Express is now offering direct service to another Turkish destination,” says Kjell-Åke Westin, airport director at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
The carrier Sun Express was formed in October 1989 as a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, and offers both scheduled and traffic service, mainly to Antalya and Izmir, Turkey.
