2012-01-30, kl. 01:05

As a result of Spanair filing for bankruptcy, the Spanish carrier Vueling is pushing forward the introduction of its new route from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Barcelona. The first flight will take off today, Sunday, January 29.

There will be four departures a week from Stockholm Arlanda – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Beginning March 25, when Vueling was originally supposed to launch its service at Stockholm Arlanda, the number of weekly departures will increase to eleven.

Tickets are already on sale at http://www.vueling.com/ and through travel agencies, Vueling’s iPhone app, Vueling’s mobile portal m.vueling.com, and its call centre (+34 931 518 158).

For passengers who were supposed to fly with Spanair, Vueling has special fares available on flights booked January 28-30 for travel until February 3. To book, go to www.vueling.com/spanair.
