SAS launching new service to Vilnius

2013-01-24, kl. 11:21

Beginning March 31, SAS will begin flying non-stop from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Vilnius. As a result, the airline will offer over 40 departures a week between Scandinavia and Lithuania.

“There is great demand for flights between Stockholm Arlanda and Vilnius so we are delighted to offer new non-stop service six times a week. The new route is a good complement to the flights we have today between Copenhagen and Vilnius, and we can now offer our customers far more departures to choose from,” says Joakim Landholm, Head of Commercial at SAS.

SAS will fly between Stockholm Arlanda and Vilnius on weekdays and Sundays, with a departure time of 2.55 p.m. from Stockholm Arlanda, and a return flight at 5.55 p.m. from Vilnius.

The route will be served by a SAAB2000, which has seating for 50. Flying time is estimated at 1 hour and 45 minutes.
