In conjunction with Latvia assuming the EU presidency, SAS is once again starting up non-stop service between Stockholm and Riga. The timetable has been adjusted to meet strong demand from business travellers who want to travel there for the day, departing in the morning and returning at night.
“It is really great that SAS is starting to fly again to Riga, which is an important market for Sweden and Stockholm. Swedish companies are among the largest investors in Latvia, and the country is also a major tourist destination,” says Kjell-Åke Westin, airport director at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
Timetable on weekdays:
Departures from Stockholm Arlanda 8.25a, 4.00p and 7.35p.
Departures from Riga 6.55a, 11.10a and 6.45p.
Timetable on weekends:
Departures from Stockholm Saturdays 8.20a, Sundays 1.10p and 8.30p.
Departures from Riga Saturdays 7.30a and 11.05a, Sundays 3.55p.
SAS will operate the route using an ATR72 with seating for 70 passengers.
